  1. Payment of a $500 CAD deposit is required via our booking platform to lock in your event date. You can pay the deposit here at any time.

  2. Full payment of the venue rental is made via the credit card on file on the day of the reservation, or at receipt of the invoice which is emailed 2 weeks prior to the reservation.

Cancellation Policy
Standard Bookings: Deposits are fully refundable if the event is cancelled 45 days before the reservation date.
Non-Refundable High Demand Dates: Deposits are non-refundable for events booked during:
Grand Prix Weekend (June 12–15) & Holiday Period (December 1 – January 3)

Rescheduling Policy
Apply only to standard bookings: You may rebook your event 1 time without penalty if you reschedule within 21 days before the reservation date. If you need to cancel and rebook within 21 days of your reservation, the $500 deposit is forfeited.

General Terms and Conditions for Booking 4281 Blvd St-Laurent

1. Introduction

By booking a space at 4281 Blvd St-Laurent, Montreal, Quebec, the client agrees to the following terms and conditions. Ralia Acquisitions Inc. ("Ralia Acquisitions") is the primary operator of the premises, with specific spaces managed by its affiliated entities.

2. Space Management and Responsibilities

Private Event Venue: Managed by Les Connections Ralia Inc., responsible for event operations, safety, and security.

Café and Restaurant: Operated by Café Cass Inc., responsible for daily food and beverage services.

Content Rooms & Short-Term Rental Apartments: Managed solely by Ralia Acquisitions Inc.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients booking any space within the premises are fully responsible for:

The behaviour and conduct of their guests.

Any damages, disruptions, or liabilities caused during the event or rental period.

Ensuring any third-party service providers they hire (e.g., caterers, decorators, entertainers) comply with the venue's policies and safety regulations.

4. Code of Conduct and Compliance

All clients and their guests must adhere to the venue’s Code of Conduct, which will be provided upon booking. Failure to comply may result in penalties, event cancellation, or removal from the premises.

5. Event Safety and Security

Les Connections Ralia Inc. oversees safety and security for private events.

Clients must follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures outlined by the venue.

Security personnel may be required for certain events at the client’s expense.

6. Booking and Payment Policies

A deposit is required to secure a booking.

Full payment must be made before the event date, as per the provided invoice.

Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to the venue’s cancellation policy, which will be detailed in the booking agreement.

7. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

All bookings and operations within the venue are subject to Quebec Government regulations. Clients must ensure their event activities comply with local laws, including licensing requirements where applicable.

8. Liability and Damages

Ralia Acquisitions Inc. and its affiliates are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred by the client, guests, or third-party vendors.

Clients will be charged for any damages to the venue caused during their rental period.

9. Amendments and Modifications

Ralia Acquisitions Inc. reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes applicable to their bookings.

By signing the rental agreement, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions Specific to the Event Space Rentals

Event Space Rental Inclusions:

Connections Ralia shall rent to the Client for the purpose of the Event and for the duration of the Event Date the Event Space (defined “Connections”). The Event shall take place on the main floor level located at 4281 Blvd St-Laurent, Montreal, Quebec and give access to the 2500 square foot space including:

  • 1 reception & coat check area

  • 1 transition area that can be used as a lounge area, a trade-show area, or left as open space, flooring is wood

  • 1 washroom / 3 toilets

  • A large gathering space that can be used for sit-down meals, seated presentations, co-working, or as left as an open space, flooring is hard wood / uneven concrete

  • Security system, including 2 exterior cameras and 3 interior cameras in the reception area

  • High speed internet

  • Access to store food in open kitchen and Access to store food in freezer (see Venue Manager for access)

  • Chairs and tables for sitting 100 people

  • Audio/video presentation system

  • 1 prep kitchen area & access to commercial appliances (*with conditions, see below)

  • Glasses, mugs, dinner plates, small plates, cutlery for 100 people

*Access to the kitchen, plates and glassware are included in base rental, however, please note that additional costs may be applied based on the size of your event and specific requirements for servers and dishwashing. Typically all events using the dish-ware require a dishwasher for the event.

*Management staff must be present to get access to the prep kitchen. The management staff is mandated to run the appliances and direct use of the dishes and cutlery. The management staff is not a server or cleaning staff and if those services are needed please discuss with us during event planning.

Conditions and Responsibilities of the Renter:

Up to one Connections Ralia staff member whom we deem the Venue Manager for the event needs to be present at minimum during the entire event (wages for staff members are included in the rental fee).

Capacity

  • 100 person capacity

Base Rental Fees

Base rental fees are as locked in as outlined on our price list upon booking and include the cleaning fee, and the venue management fee. Our rental fees are subject to change at any time and are not guaranteed for future bookings.

Overtime Fees

If the event exceeds the agreed-upon booking time, additional fees may apply. Overtime rates will be charged per hour or part thereof, based on the venue’s standard hourly rate.

Deposit & Payment Schedule

  • Reservation Deposit: A $500 deposit is required to reserve the venue, payable via our online platform Archie. This deposit does not include add-ons and is non-waivable. The reservation is not confirmed until payment is received.

  • Security Deposit: Connections Ralia requires a credit card on file at the signing of the contract. This credit card will be charged for any damages that may occur. A walk through before and after the event will be done to ensure that nothing is damaged.

  • Final Payment up to 2 weeks before the event by client or the day of the event by Connections Ralia automatically. Remaining payment and any other outstanding fees are paid via credit card based on the agreed upon invoice.

Cancellation

Rebooking PolicyApply only to standard bookings: You may rebook your event 1 time within a 9 month time frame without penalty if you rebook within 21 days before the reservation date. If you need to cancel and rebook within 21 days of your reservation, the $500 deposit is forfeited.

Concierge Services by Altitude Connections:

Included in your rental of Connections Ralia is our basic concierge and venue management services. Altitude Connections will be contacting you to book suppliers directly for you and create a package directly in line with your unique needs. Our offer includes:

  • Event Consultation

  • Access to our List of Preferred Suppliers (Catering, DJs, Photographers, etc)

  • Event Management

  • Event Staffing

  • Supplier Priority Booking

  • Furnishing

  • Decorating consultation

  • A/V Setup

  • Event Marketing Materials

  • Valet

  • Bar service (Connections Ralia is a restaurant-bar and all alcohol consumed on site needs to be purchased from our bar)

Any services requested by the Client that exceed the scope of the basic consultation as outlined above may be subject to additional fees. The Consultant will inform the Client in advance if any such services fall outside the agreed-upon scope, and will provide a detailed description of the additional services along with a cost estimate. The Client must approve any additional charges before the services are rendered.

Alcohol Service

We can provide a full bar service for your event. Please be aware that outside alcohol or external alcohol permits are not permitted on the premises, as our establishment holds the exclusive rights for alcohol service. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased and served through our bar to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Alcoholic beverages may only be provided by Connections Ralia. The Venue reserves the right to limit the types and quantities of alcohol based on the event’s size, type, or duration.

There will be a 18% gratuity added to bar tabs or add-ons during the night.

If any outside alcohol is brought onto the premises, the event will be immediately shut down, and the client will incur a $5,000 fine, in addition to any fines imposed on the venue by local authorities. This policy is in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests and to be in compliance with the laws and regulations in Quebec as governed by Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.

Alcohol Service duration will be signed off on prior to any event that includes alcohol. The Renter acknowledges that alcohol will not be served before or after these hours under any circumstances.

Alcohol Service: Age Verification and Responsible Consumption

The Renter agrees to ensure that all individuals consuming alcohol are of legal drinking age, which is 18 years old.

The Venue staff will verify the age of individuals using valid government-issued identification. The Renter will cooperate with Venue staff to ensure the responsible service and consumption of alcohol.

Alcohol Service: Consumption and Behaviour

The Venue reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated, disruptive, or engaging in inappropriate behavior. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that all guests adhere to the Venue's rules regarding alcohol consumption, including maintaining a safe and respectful environment. The Venue may remove any guest causing disturbances or violating alcohol consumption rules

Alcohol Service: Liability and Indemnification

The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Venue, its staff, and its affiliates from any liability, injury, or damages caused by the consumption of alcohol at the event. The Venue is not liable for any damages or injuries arising from the actions of guests under the influence of alcohol.

Access to the space

All load-ins and load-outs must take place within the designated timeframe given by Connections. If there is an event prior to yours a timed delivery will be required. Connections Ralia is not responsible for checking in or handling any items brought into the venue by rental companies. All excess material (such as bubble wrap, boxes, hangers, plastic, etc.) created by deliveries must be removed and disposed of by the rental company, client, or client’s representative.

Limited storage is available upon request. We are not responsible for any lost/stolen/damaged rental items. In the event that Connections Ralia is damaged by a supplier they have hired directly and have not hired via Altitude Connections, the renter will be responsible for any repair costs that may be incurred.

The client agrees that Connections Ralia staff may enter and exit premises during the course of the event as needed. A representative of Connections Ralia will be on site during your entire event and will be checking periodically with the responsible parties to insure everything is running smoothly. We will also be checking the bathroom, the overall premises, replenishing included supplies such as toilet paper, and will be available for questions or to respond to needs or issues that may arise at any time.

The Client, their guests, invitees and contractors must vacate Connections Ralia by the end of the Event or extra fees may apply.

Venue Condition & Clean Up

Connections Ralia will provide the venue in a clean and ready condition for the client’s event. The client must agree to return the venue in the same condition immediately following the event. The venue manager will conduct a walkthrough before and after the event to ensure the venue is left in good condition. Any damages or excessive mess will result in additional charges.

Furniture Arrangement

An initial set up of our included furniture with seating of up to 100 people will be offered prior to your event. Furniture rearrangement during an event will be coordinated with the client following a booking. Please note, unique furniture arrangements will be allowed and set up provided we have 1 week notice. In the case of no notices we will set up the furniture as we determine is appropriate for your event. Extra fees may apply if extra staff are needed to move furniture or if extra furniture is needed to accommodate the event needs.

Our Commitment to Reduce our Carbon Footprint, Disposable Waste Disclaimer

We are committed to promoting sustainability by actively reducing waste and minimizing our carbon footprint. Our event space implements waste management support, ensuring we strongly discourage single use items, we implement best recycling practices, and composting. Additionally, we strive to minimize energy and water usage through the use of energy-efficient appliances, low-flow water fixtures, and food waste management. By choosing our venue, you are supporting a greener, more sustainable future.

Garbage fee above normal

Client is responsible for the cost of removing the quantity of all trash, composting and recyclables beyond what fits in our large size garbage bins. Our team can take care of the excess waste for a fee.

Noise / Music

We encourage music and celebration. However, please be aware that residential noise regulations do apply. In the event that renter’s event creates a disturbance due to high noise volume, Connections Ralia onsite staff has full authority to ask the renter to turn the entertainment down and/or off. If repeated disturbances are reported, Connections Ralia has the right to shut the event down. Noise and gathering outside the front doors create the greatest noise complaints so please avoid this behaviour at your event.

Catering Standards

Food and non-alcoholic beverages can be brought in by the renter of the space, however, we highly recommend that a caterer from our recommended caterers list or from our in-house partner, Cafe Cass, be used for your event. Connections Ralia will not be responsible for any food/beverage related expenses or liable for any food related injury or illness.

Prep Area and Open Kitchen Policy: The Connections Ralia kitchen and prep area is not a production space and is to be used for final food presentation, plating and bussing only.

Private Chef: On site food production by one of our private chefs can be part of your event. This service is an add-on and is set up with Connections Ralia following booking of the space.

Connections Ralia encourages those renting space to consider green, sustainable, fair trade, ecologically sound cleaning and zero waste solutions.

A/V Equipment

A projector and screen and bluetooth enabled speakers are included in your rental. All other equipment is considered an extra and will be added on to the rental agreement after signing.

Site Decoration

Connections Ralia wants to make every event a special and welcome experience. Therefore, every effort will be made to allow renter to prepare decorations reflecting their creative requirements. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items are to be used on our walls or floors. No glitter or foil (non-paper) confetti is allowed on site. Only low tack tape is allowed on our floors and wall. Any damage will be charged after your event.

Conduct

There is absolutely no drug use or smoking of any kind tolerated on premises or within 30 feet of the building including loitering or congregating outside on the sidewalk at any time during the event. Disparaging remarks or any type of physical violence will not be tolerated and will be cause for immediate expulsion. Renter and guests shall use the premises in a considerate manner at all times. During underage events, such as youth parties, we prefer that underage individuals do not have in and out privileges. Conduct deemed disorderly at the sole discretion of Connections Ralia staff and shall be grounds for immediate expulsion from the premises and conclusion of the rental period. In such cases No refund of the event costs shall be made.

Damages, Repair Costs & Extraordinary Cleaning Costs

The entire space will be provided in a clean condition and the space should be returned to a clean condition immediately following your event. A final walk- through is done by your event Venue Manager at the close of your event.

The Client shall be responsible for any damages (including, but not limited to, property damage and personal injury) suffered or incurred by Les Connections Ralia Inc or any employee, guest, invitee or contractor of Les Connections Ralia Inc caused by the Client or any guest, invitee or contractor of the Client. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Les Connections Ralia Inc, its affiliates, their employees, contractors, directors, and officers from all actions, costs, claims, losses, expenses and/or damages, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or resulting from the Client's use of the services and facilities of Les Connections Ralia Inc unless the same are due to the negligence or misconduct of any of the Indemnitees. The Client shall be fully liable for any costs incurred by Les Connections Ralia Inc to repair any damage caused to the building, and replace any property in the building that is damaged, stolen or vandalized as a result of the Client's use of Connections, including, but not limited to, the willful or negligent acts or omissions of the Client's guests, invitees or contractors.

Emergency Protocols

In the event of an emergency, Connections Ralia staff will follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests. The Client agrees to cooperate fully with any instructions given during an emergency.

Insurance

Les Connections Ralia Inc holds insurance for liability and damage that is our responsibility but we encourage our renters to have their own insurance as needed for their event.
