FAQs

  • We recommend booking the space for one hour before and one hour after the event is scheduled for.  You will want the time to perfect the set up and also to do the basic tidying up required after.

  • We are so happy to be able to offer you a turn key space.  We will have all of the furniture pulled out and set up in the pre arranged and agreed upon set up.  Decorating the space how you want is all for you and your imagination!  At the end of the night, we do ask that you return the space in the state it was given to you in, but we include in the cost a deep clean of the space so you don’t have to worry about the small details!!

  • We not only strongly encourage everyone to do this, but we also require it from caterers who have never worked in the space.  We want to make sure that every question you could have is answered and that you feel comfortable in the space.  We also want to make sure that there are no avoidable surprises the day of your event so that it can run as smoothly as possible.

  • While our basic package does not include getting quotes from and booking a caterer for you, we do have a premium package available that we are more than happy to work with you to create the food journey of your dreams!  If that is not in your budget or needs, we do have a great rolodex of amazing caterers at all price points and cuisines that we would be happy to pass on for you to explore yourself!! We are not contracted to any one catering company which means you get the beauty of having any option you could desire!

  • Absolutely!!  If you want to bring your own food and sodas/juices, that is absolutely no issue!! We have industrial sized fridges to be able to store you food in and basic serving dishes.  We do not have serving platters for presentation, but do have large round white plates and beautiful bowls for dips or salads.  If you do bring your own food and plan to use the dishes, please note that a dishwasher from our trained team will be required as there will be dishware, glassware, and utensils used. 

  • While we have a venue manager on site at every event, they are there to simply make sure that every function regarding the space is on point and taken care of.  If you have a party planner or day of event planner, that is the person who would be taking care of this.  If not, then that will be up to you to make sure you are in communication with them to make sure your food service flows seamlessly.

  • One of the many great perks about booking Connections is that we do have a full bar and alcohol permit.  However, that means that no outside alcohol, including gifts to others in the event, are allowed. The bar is staffed by our well trained and reliable bartenders who can meet your every need. We have many different bar packages and pride ourselves on being able to offer a great variety for every budget and beverage needs.  Ask us about our mocktail options!!  We love to be able to also offer healthy bar options!!

  • While our legal capacity is 100 people, we do not recommend planning a sit down dinner for more than 75 people comfortably.  For a cocktail, 5 á 7, networking event, or a party with a dance floor, we are more than able to accommodate that.  Ask about our many set up plans available!!

  • You absolutely can!!  Please note that we do have occupied apartment units above us and around us so there is a noise level restriction after 11PM.  Bands and DJ’s do need to be approved before allowing this service and are required to use our amazing, state of the art sound system as it was designed to have maximum output with minimum noise or disruption for our neighbors. A sub woofer that plugs into our system and is no larger than the established dimensions is allowed. Otherwise, no external speakers are allowed. 

  • We love to be accommodating as much as we can be.  Please understand we do host a lot of events and we do not want anyone to have any losses because they dropped off their decorations, food, or belongings before the event date and anything was confused or taken.  The access to the space is in the times that you have reserved.  If there is a possibility for us to help you, we are more than happy to accommodate.  This does not guarantee that we can always extend this courtesy unfortunately.

  • We LOVE this!! Please feel free to make all the amazing playlists and slideshows that you want!! Either you can plug in your phone, computer, or tablet or you can email them to us ahead of time and we can plug and play from our in-house Ipad!!
